Inter Milan survived the winter break to retain its position atop the FSCCR, despite a serious charge from Premiership giants Manchester United (2) and Arsenal (3). The Nerazzurri remain undefeated in Serie A action this season despite the pursuit of clubs like Roma (7) and Juventus (9).

Rangers (16) made the biggest jump in the first 2008 edition of the FSCCR after some impressive domestic results that have given the club a four-point lead over hated archrivals Celtic (18) in the SPL.

Liverpool's domestic problems and inability to put lower teams away has cost them some points in the rankings. Falling to 14th in the FSCCR, the Reds are still lucky to be ahead of Everton (20) here, but don't have that same luxury in the Premiership table. Fortunately for Rafa Benitez his bread and butter is the upcoming Champions League knockout stages where Liverpool's proved a formidable opponent in years past.

The FSCCR are compiled from votes by FSI writers and commentators from the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Chile, and Argentina. The world club rankings are published every other Thursday.
